- Go one layer deeper before trusting an abstraction.
- Reliability matters more than a convincing demo.
- AI engineering is increasingly systems engineering.
- Observability is part of the product, not an afterthought.
- Keep architecture simple until complexity earns its place.
- Production constraints reveal whether an AI system actually works.
